BlogToBook downloads and processes the public blog or newsletter archive you choose locally on your Mac to build the requested book. Article content, HTML, images, generated EPUB contents, article URLs, and the submitted archive URL are not sent to PostHog analytics. Local article and image caches remain on your Mac.
BlogToBook uses PostHog for anonymous product analytics such as app launch, inspection outcomes, crawl outcomes, review usage, and EPUB export outcomes. Events may include aggregate properties such as app version, discovery strategy, counts, image counts, artifact size, completeness, and failure categories. An anonymous installation identifier is used; no account is required.
Some analytics events leave the Mac so product usage can be measured. BlogToBook does not send scraped article content or archive identity in those events.
