1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how ClipFlow AI ("the app", "we", "our") collects, uses, and handles information when you use the ClipFlow AI application. ClipFlow AI is a TikTok content publishing workflow tool that allows users to prepare and publish short-form video content to TikTok through TikTok's authorized APIs.

2. Information We Collect

ClipFlow AI collects only the minimum information required to operate the TikTok publishing workflow:

TikTok account information — Your TikTok username and display name, retrieved via the user.info.basic scope. Used only to display the connected account in the app. Not stored on external servers.
TikTok OAuth access tokens — Stored locally on your device. Used only to make authorized API calls on your behalf. Never transmitted to ClipFlow AI servers.
Video files and captions — Content you provide for publishing. Processed locally and submitted to TikTok only upon your explicit approval.
Operational logs — Basic error and usage logs for troubleshooting. These do not contain video content or personal profile data.

ClipFlow AI does not collect passwords, payment information, location data, contacts, or any data beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate your TikTok account via TikTok Login Kit
To display your connected TikTok account within the app
To submit approved video content to TikTok via the Content Posting API
To diagnose errors and improve app stability

We do not use your information for advertising, analytics sold to third parties, or any purpose beyond operating the app's core publishing workflow.

4. TikTok API Data

ClipFlow AI uses the following TikTok API scopes:

user.info.basic — Reads your TikTok username and display name to identify the connected account.
video.publish — Submits video content to your TikTok account only after you explicitly approve the publishing action.

Data received through TikTok APIs is used only for the purposes described above and is not retained beyond the active session unless stored locally on your device.

5. Data Sharing

ClipFlow AI does not sell user data. We do not share your data with third parties except:

TikTok — Video content and metadata are submitted to TikTok on your behalf when you approve a publishing action. This is the core function of the app.
Legal requirements — If required by law or valid legal process.

6. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device and can be removed by revoking access in your TikTok account settings or by uninstalling the app. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for troubleshooting purposes and are then deleted.

7. User Rights & Data Deletion

You can disconnect your TikTok account from ClipFlow AI at any time. To request deletion of any data associated with your use of the app, visit the Data Deletion page or email michaellu8@gmail.com.

8. Security

OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device. ClipFlow AI does not transmit TikTok credentials or tokens to external servers. We follow TikTok's API security requirements for all integrations.

9. Children's Privacy

ClipFlow AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
